Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation signs memorandums with Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Morocco


Bilateral memorandums of understanding were signed between the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, AGF, and the wrestling federations of Türkiye, Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Morocco on the sidelines of the U17 World Wrestling Championships in Baku, Report informs, citing AGF.

The signed memorandums are aimed at strengthening institutional ties between the federations, promoting the sustainable development of wrestling and improving sporting achievements.

The documents provide for the organization of joint training camps between national teams, the expansion of opportunities to participate in international competitions, and the exchange of knowledge and experience in coaching, refereeing and other areas.

The cooperation will also contribute to the development of long-term and effective relations between partner federations, the promotion of wrestling internationally, and the improvement of the training process for Azerbaijani wrestlers by creating new development opportunities for them.

The Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation considers expanding cooperation with international partners one of its priorities for developing wrestling in the country, improving athletes’ professional training and ensuring continued success on the international stage.
