A shocking incident out of The Villages, Florida, has led to the arrest of 67-year-old resident David O’Brien after a “sugar baby” arrangement arranged on Tinder escalated into a violent, high-speed car chase and an armed confrontation. O’Brien reportedly agreed to pay a younger woman $1,000 alongside dinner and shopping. However, after receiving $800 of the money, the woman became uncomfortable at his residence and called her friends to pick her up, prompting O’Brien to demand a full refund.
The situation turned dangerous when O’Brien pursued the fleeing woman and her friends in his Ford F-150. He intentionally rammed their vehicle twice at a roundabout near El Camino Real and Buena Vista Boulevard, causing their car to crash into a pole. Following the collision, O’Brien exited his truck, pulled out a semi-automatic Ruger handgun, forced one of the male passengers to the ground, and threatened to kill him.
