The Z-channel “Rybar,” which is close to the Russian Ministry of Defense, is preparing Russians for more powerful attacks from Ukraine.
Rybar drew attention to the situation in occupied Crimea, noting that a similar situation would soon be observed in Russia. He also made it clear that the government and the army would do nothing about it. Z-Channel suggested that businesses take charge of their own defense. “A forecast of how the situation will develop across the country in the coming months can be made using the current state of Crimea as an example… The enemy, having demonstrated to the West the effectiveness of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, will acquire even more drones and will increasingly intensify attacks on the Moscow region, including, not to mention, the M-4 highway. Recall, Russian propaganda hid footage from the Russian public of smoke-shrouded Moscow and Tambov regions following a Ukrainian drone attack on Wildberries marketplace warehouses, which were used to supply Russia’s military-industrial complex. Federal television news broadcasts showed no photos or videos of the massive fires in Elektrostal and Kotovsk. Instead, propagandists showed screenshots of Russian officials’ statements on social media regarding the attacks and reiterated familiar Kremlin narratives. Footage of the fires was not shown on the state-run Rossiya 1 television channel or on other pro-Kremlin channels such as Channel One and NTV. Meanwhile, social media continues to fill with new photos and videos demonstrating the extent of the fire at the aforementioned marketplace’s facilities. The chat also reported that some workers did not wait for instructions and opened the cargo gates themselves to leave the warehouse. A similar version of events was told to Post by an employee of the logistics center, who is also the sister of one of the night shift workers. According to her, during the incident, the management called for calm and did not allow people to leave, despite the ongoing attack. Another community member suggested that workers may have been detained inside the warehouse to prevent possible theft of goods.
