U.S. prosecutors cited Andrew Tate’s July social media posts about his planned $50 million, 41-meter superyacht, Obsidian Blade, in court filings, arguing they demonstrate he has the financial resources and international mobility to flee. Prosecutors are seeking to keep Andrew and Tristan Tate in custody and deny them bail during extradition proceedings. Months after Gov. Ron DeSantis said Florida was “not a place where you’re welcome” for them, Andrew and Tristan Tate have returned to Miami. They have since been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service on behalf of the United Kingdom, which is seeking their extradition over allegations including rape, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
