IRGC drone attack targets US base in Kuwait

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has carried out a drone strike on a US military base in Kuwait, according to Tasnim agency, cited by Report.

The IRGC announced that drones had struck ammunition depots and the logistics command center of US ground forces at the Al-Doha military base.

It was noted that Al-Doha, located in Kuwait City’s coastal district, is considered one of the most important US bases in the country. The base also serves as a support hub for American troops deployed across the Middle East, hosting US ground forces, naval units, aviation equipment, and personnel.

The incident follows recent US strikes on military targets in Iran.

The Associated Press is projecting that incumbent Democrat Katie Hobbs and Republican Andy Biggs will advance to the general election in November.

Biggs, who is currently a Congressman, ran in a GOP primary that featured three other candidates: Ken Miceli, Scott Neely, and David Schweikert.

Meanwhile, Democrat Katie Hobbs ran unopposed in her party’s gubernatorial primary. FOX 10’s Brian Webb has the latest.

The move comes after Petro cut diplomatic ties with Israel in 2024 over the war against Hamas in Gaza. De la Espriella, backed by U.S. President Donald Trump, has pledged to fully restore relations with Israel.

Incoming Foreign Minister @omarbula met Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar in Washington, where both sides agreed on a roadmap to restore diplomatic ties and eliminate travel visa requirements between the two countries.

The new Colombian government also plans to withdraw its support for South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Petro condemned the decision, calling De la Espriella an “accomplice to genocide” and writing: “Anyone who supports genocide is complicit in it.”

The United States moved its embassy to Jerusalem in 2018 during President Trump’s first term.

There was no suspense in the Republican nomination for governor as Rep. Andy Biggs easily won Tuesday night in the Arizona Primary.

The Associated Press easily called the race minutes after the first wave of results came in. Biggs has yet to speak but the fight for November is just getting started. Republican voters risk nominating another conservative warrior who excites the party base but fails to win a general election by turning off independents. Although Republicans once dominated Arizona, Democrats now hold both U.S. Senate seats and the top three state offices.
