The president directed more federal resources toward investigating voter fraud nationwide. The White House also posted a trove of declassified documents online, which the administration said exposes flaws in election security.
“The People’s Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China’s illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files,” Trump said.
Trump also claimed nearly 280,000 noncitizens are registered to vote and that the nation’s voting machines and ballot-counting systems are exposed to manipulation and corruption.
