We will not allow the Strait of Hormuz to become a place from which to threaten Iran’s national security. American claims about escorting merchant ships only reinforce that the U.S. insists on creating insecurity in the region.” Baghaei also says Iran will not grant the IAEA access to its nuclear facilities.

IRGC Deadly Attack On Bahrain Hangar Housing US Prized P-8 Poseidon After Jordan MQ-9 Site Strikes

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it had targeted multiple facilities at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain during the second phase of its retaliatory operation against the US. In a statement, the IRGC said its aerospace forces struck helicopter maintenance facilities, a hangar housing a P-8 maritime patrol aircraft, and a US military drone command-and-control centre.
