“The Kuwaiti Armed Forces are currently confronting hostile aerial targets within Kuwaiti airspace.

The General Staff of the Army notes that any explosion sounds heard are the result of air defense systems intercepting hostile attacks.

According to CENTCOM, approximately 140 military targets were struck during the latest operation, including missile and drone sites, naval assets, ammunition depots, communications networks, and coastal surveillance systems.

Across three nights of operations, the U.S. says it has now struck more than 300 Iranian military targets aimed at degrading Tehran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping. CENTCOM also stated that, since early May, U.S. forces have helped facilitate the safe transit of more than 800 commercial vessels carrying approximately 400 million barrels of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz.
