Political dominoes falling in Maine, as Demcoratic Senate candidate Graham Platner weathers calls to withdraw from the race amid allegations of violent behavior and sexual assault. Planter, who denies the allegations, has been facing multiple scandals since he launched his campaign, including controversies about past comments online and a Nazi tattoo. Following the latest allegations, former allies and supporters like Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Elizabeth Warren, and California Congressman Ro Khanna, have pulled their support, calling on Platner to withdraw. Meanwhile, Platner’s campaign says it is evaluating the best path forward, and potential replacement candidates are circling the wagons, attempting to set themselves up to fill the slot on the ballot, that is, if Platner drops out before the Monday deadline. With more on the scandal, the political maneuverings, the Democrats’ path towards a possible Senate majority, and what it all means for incumbent Republican Susan Collins, Cher Calvin and Micah Ohlman are joined by KTLA Law and Politics Analyst Jessica Levinson.
