To celebrate America’s 250th birthday and Macy’s golden anniversary, the 2026 show made history by breaking out of its traditional single-river setup. This historic, record-breaking display launched over 85,000 shells across THREE massive New York City waterfront locations at once: the lower East River, the lower Hudson River (in collaboration with Jersey City), and directly off the iconic Brooklyn Bridge itself!
