The reality is that every disposable infantryman currently being fed into frontline assaults would pay the equivalent of that bonus to their commander tomorrow for a transfer to one of those units.
Put another way, the current pipeline feeding meat to the front could easily fill these positions for zero bonus and zero monthly salary just by having them take an aptitude test.
The more likely explanation is that Russia has developed virtual reality headsets that make you think you are flying an FPV while you are actually running across an open field in broad daylight as drone bait.
