I am back on 86th Street in Bensonhurst to bring all of you along for a walk through the street festival under the elevated train tracks. We will start with some side street walking on Bay 19th Street as we make our way to the street festival. The Street Festival Tour starts on 19th Avenue. We will walk through the festival, eventually turning around at Bay Parkway, to take one more pass through the festivities. We will then end the walk with more side streets. A little different from the bigger street festivals in Brooklyn, this event features more retail vendors, some food stands, and children’s rides and inflatables. Also, a nice added attraction of the train rumbling overhead from time to time – gives a little bit of a roller coaster ambience to the mix!
