Cobb County police officers shot and killed a driver who crashed an SUV and fired a gun during a confrontation late night on Windy Hill Road. Authorities have not released the identity, age or medical history of the deceased driver.

A tense night aboard a United Airlines 737 after a passenger reportedly attempted to breach the cockpit during flight. Luckily there were multiple law enforcement officers on board and they were able to quickly subdue the hijacker. The crew executed flawlessly and the flight landed without further incident.
