Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez at the Moncloa Palace in Madrid on Thursday.
Earlier, addressing the 30th Ibero-American Summit, Zelenskyy called on Latin American countries to help Ukraine restore and maintain its war-damaged energy infrastructure.
He said Russian missile and drone attacks had damaged every power plant in Ukraine, forcing energy workers to carry out constant repairs to prevent a nationwide blackout.
Zelenskyy appealed for urgent supplies of transformers, cables, generators and other electrical equipment.

🇺🇸 THE WILES FILES: TRUMP’S CHIEF OF STAFF UNDER FIRE OVER FOREIGN LOBBYING TIES
The GOP’s midterm defeat has triggered a backlash against White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, with MAGA critics raising questions about her family’s foreign lobbying connections.
The allegations involve money, political influence, and White House access:
– MIDTERM DISASTER: Insiders reportedly blame Wiles for predicting Republican victories despite unfavorable polling. One official called her “the conductor of this orchestra.”
– $420,000 FOREIGN CONTRACT: Her daughter Katie’s firm signed a $35,000-per-month lobbying deal with Republika Srpska, whose leadership has maintained close ties with Putin.
– BOSNIA TRIP: Katie was photographed at a shooting range with the entity’s interior minister. Her firm says the visit involved another client.
– WHITE HOUSE ACCESS: A lobbyist from Katie’s firm reportedly helped arrange a meeting between Wiles and a senior Bosnian Serb official.
– TRUMP’S INNER CIRCLE: Former campaign advisers Chris LaCivita and James Blair also received payments for Bosnia-related consulting.
The White House denies improper coordination, and the contracts do not establish wrongdoing.
Wiles now faces two politically damaging questions: Who bears responsibility for the Republican defeat, and how much access can foreign clients buy through Trump’s political network?
