🇺🇸🇮🇷 Anyone who follows U.S. politics knows John Bolton as a neocon and a warhawk, who pushed for countless wars at seemingly every opportunity… But he seems to have had a rather shocking change of heart on Trump’s Iran war, saying the “yes-men” around Trump should have STOPPED him. For the past several decades, this was a war that Bolton HIMSELF wanted. But every president thought better. He finally gets it, and because he had a falling out with Trump, because he sees how it all turns out politically, he jumps ship and is all of a sudden a pacifist. INTERESTING: Trita Parsi, the Iranian lobbyist based in Washington, told Mario Nawfal that the New York Times report is probably correct: Iran likely has some secret chemical weapons programs. “There is a plausibility to the fact that a country like Iran and many others in the region probably do have some secret programs on chemical weapons. When a country has been attacked by two nuclear weapon states, it is not implausible to think that it has started to think about these things. Does that mean it is the type of imminent threat that the Israelis are trying to portray? Does that mean the answer to that problem is another war with Iran? Those are completely different things.”

Washington faces new reality after Democratic wave victory


Democrats took control of both the House and Senate in a sweeping midterm victory, delivering a major political setback to President Donald Trump and reshaping the balance of power in Washington. Voters cited concerns over affordability, foreign policy and government corruption as Democrats flipped key battlegrounds and scored surprise wins in Republican strongholds. The new congressional majority is expected to challenge Trump’s agenda, launch investigations and influence major policy debates through 2028.
