💋 The Kiss That History Never Forgot.

✨ She didn’t walk like a prisoner… she walked like a legend.

Mata Hari.
The world’s most famous dancer… and the woman accused of being a spy.

On a cold morning in 1917, she arrived for her execution in Paris.
High heels. Black dress. Head held high.
No fear. No shaking. Just grace.

A nun walked beside her.
Mata smiled, took off her coat, and handed it over —
like a queen giving away her crown. 👑

They offered her a blindfold.
She refused.

“I want to face the bullets with my eyes open,” she said.

Then she asked for a glass of wine. 🍷
No glass was found — so they brought her a fine goblet.
She took a sip… slow and calm, while cameras flashed around her.

Twelve soldiers stood ready to shoot.
She looked at them, smiled again,
and said:

“I am ready, gentlemen.”

Then she did something no one expected — she blew them a kiss. 💋

A kiss before death.
A symbol of courage, pride, and mystery.

“Fire!”

The rifles cracked. One soldier fainted.
And with that… the legend of Mata Hari was born.

They called her a spy.
But history remembers her as a woman who met death like a queen. 👑

Andrew Day, Senior Editor of The American Conservative, doesn’t think it’s that clear-cut:

“There are a lot of escalation signals. No one can deny.

For example, we’re sending an aircraft carrier to the region. We sent Israel Patriot defense battery systems.

We’ve told the Gulf countries to prepare for strikes after the midterms are over; those are all important escalation signals.

But I’m personally a little skeptical.

I think that deterrence works, and if Trump is minimally rational, he’s listening to the Iranian threats that they’re going to expand their target list.

They’re going to target new kinds of assets, including digital infrastructure, internet cables, data centers, stuff like that. They’re also indicating that they might hit Europe.

And he must be thinking, okay, last time they made these threats, and I didn’t listen to them because I didn’t know their strategic calculus had changed.

You know, I went ahead with strikes, and they were right.

Maybe for that reason he won’t launch these strikes that everyone’s expecting.”
