The head of Iran’s Basij organization, Taeb, accused the enemy of identifying and eliminating scientists and university professors during what he called the second and third imposed wars, in an effort to stop Iran from reaching nuclear knowledge.
He claimed the campaign also extended to students and was aimed at blocking the country’s scientific progress and independence. Iranians will not trade their dignity and independence, he added.
