A new analysis by The Economist finds that migrants from the Middle East and North Africa have sexual offense conviction rates approximately 3–4 times those of British nationals, while Afghans have an estimated rate seven times higher.
Migrants from sub-Saharan Africa also have elevated rates, at approximately 2.5 times the British rate, while European and East Asian migrants generally have lower rates.
