DEVELOPING: Suspected Armed Boarding Incident off Yemen
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has issued an advisory after a merchant vessel reported being illegally boarded off the coast of Yemen.
According to the report, a small craft carrying four individuals armed with rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) approached the vessel. The boarders reportedly damaged the bridge and adjacent compartments after gaining access.
The crew has retreated to the vessel’s citadel (anti-piracy safe room) and is reported to be safe while awaiting assistance.
On the last day of its term, the Supreme Court rejected President Trump’s effort seeking to end birthright citizenship. The high court also ruled states can continue to ban transgender athletes from competing in female sports. Jan Crawford has more.

The Centre has filed a fresh eviction plea against the Delhi Gymkhana Club, seeking possession of its 27.3-acre Safdarjung Road premises. The government says the land is public property needed for defence and other public purposes, and alleges the club continues to occupy it despite lease termination and multiple notices. The Estate Officer has asked the club to respond by July 7, warning that an eviction order could be passed if it fails to appear. The matter also remains pending before the Delhi High Court.
