Lebanese President Joseph Aoun responded to Hezbollah’s criticism of the framework agreement with Israel.
Aoun: “Lebanon made an independent decision to negotiate. We won’t let anyone negotiate on our behalf. If you’re not interested in a deal, give us another option. There is no other option.”
He said Lebanon tried war and it led nowhere, and called on Hezbollah to join the negotiations and present its positions instead of distorting the agreement. He warned: “Argue with me about politics all you want, but don’t go near the street.”
