Iran’s IRNA and Mehr news agencies said multiple blasts were heard in the area, though the cause remains unclear. The incident comes a day after the U.S. said it carried out new strikes on Iran aimed at keeping the Strait of Hormuz open to shipping, amid escalating regional tensions.

At least 28 dead in fire at shoe factory in eastern China, state media reports

Footage shared by state television CCTV showed firefighters dousing the facade and interior of a large, multi-story white building with fire hoses, as thick black smoke poured out.
