The hearing follows an emotional first day in court that included surveillance video, witness testimony, and arguments over evidence involving Robinson’s former roommate, Lance Twiggs.
Judge proceedings also addressed whether portions of Twiggs’ recorded statement should remain sealed. The court ordered certain redactions after prosecutors argued the material included text messages, chat logs, and a handwritten note connected to the investigation. Members of the Kirk family had urged the court to release the statement in its entirety.
