President Trump is expected to hold a “long” speech on the National Mall Saturday evening as the U.S. marks its 250th anniversary, even as record heat threatens to upend the festivities.

Other July 4 activities throughout the day in Washington include military flyovers, performances by the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels and Air Force Thunderbirds, musical performances, speeches from Trump administration officials and a fireworks show, among other events.

The president’s remarks are scheduled for 10:30 p.m. EDT.
