NEW: The US-Israeli combined force continued to strike military, defense industrial, internal security, and energy infrastructure across Iran on April 5 and 6. ISW-CTP has observed strikes in 11 provinces since its last data cutoff on April 5.

The IDF struck petrochemical facilities at the South Pars Gas Field in Bushehr Province on April 6, which is central to Iran’s domestic natural gas supply and broader energy system. The IDF previously struck the South Pars Gas Field on March 18.

The IDF’s strikes on South Pars come as Iran has rejected the latest ceasefire proposal, according to Iranian media. Iran submitted a 10-point response to the 45-day ceasefire proposal. Iran called for a “permanent end” to the war and the lifting of sanctions on Iran in its response.

A senior US official described Iran’s response as “maximalist” to an Axios journalist. US President Donald Trump previously extended his deadline for Iran to reach an agreement until 8:00 PM ET on April 8 and threatened to attack Iranian power plants and bridges if an agreement is not reached.
Iran continued to attack Israel with ballistic missiles containing cluster munition warheads. Iranian cluster bomb submunitions impacted in Bnei Brak, Givatayim, Petah Tikva, and Ramat Gan, central Israel, on April 6.

Members of Iran’s Axis of Resistance continued to attack Israel on April 5 and 6. The IDF intercepted a Houthi drone launched at Israel. Hezbollah has claimed 25 attacks against Israeli targets since 2:00 PM ET on April 5.
