The US is warning the EU of the need to reach a trade agreement, otherwise they could lose “cheap” access to liquefied natural gas (LNG), – FT.

The Trump administration is suggesting that European companies could lose priority access to supplies or face higher tariffs if they don’t sign the agreement. This comes amid an escalating conflict in the Middle East, which has blocked shipments from Qatar through the Strait of Hormuz.
