The first Shahed drones used against Ukraine were launched by Iranian operators
According to President Zelensky, Tehran sent its specialists to operate the drones in order to train personnel under real combat conditions.
“We know how the first Shaheds were launched. There were no Russian operators. There were operators from another country — the country the Shaheds came from. They needed to train them, and they trained them in a real war,” Zelensky said during a press conference in Bucharest.
