C’est une inversion des valeurs. Le Danemark et l’Union européenne ont été jusqu’à proposer de collaborer à plus de sécurité du Groenland en lien avec les États-Unis. Au-delà de la sécurité de ce territoire, il y a donc vraisemblablement surtout un agenda politique de Donald Trump.
Si ces droits de douane venaient à être confirmés, nous serions dans un cas d’école de coercition américaine sur les Européens. J’appellerai alors dans ce cas l’Union européenne à actionner son instrument anti-coercition, c’est à dire la réciprocité des droits de douane et l’exclusion des entreprises américaines des marchés publics européens.
