Allegiant does have sales occasionally but the flights you want may or may not go on sale. If you are comfortable with the $149, book it. Allegiant has tiered pricing, x number of seats at a certain price, when they are sold the pricing moves up to the next tier (ie: $67 to $79 to $92 to $104 just examples, not actual prices).
