IDF intelligence paints a stark picture of Beit Hanoun, described as a key Hamas hub:
“The city of Beit Hanoun is a central Hamas terror stronghold in Gaza.”
According to the findings, Hamas ran tunnels under residential homes, while thousands of buildings above ground were used for weapons, firing positions, and command sites. The IDF also reports that terrorists operated inside an elementary school, with a tunnel shaft hidden beneath it.
