If we want to talk abut the Tulsi and Assad meeting, I think it’s important we don’t be disingenuous about it. Pelosi and other U.S. Officials met with Assad in 2007, while attempting to negotiate peace between Hezbollah and Israel, this was before Assad decided to slaughter and gas his own people during the Civil War which began in 2011. Tulsi held an non-sanctioned meeting with Assad in 2017, after he had already murdered hundreds of thousands of his own people, and her trip was funded by a group of Pro-Assad Arab Americans based in Cleveland as propaganda. We can like Tulsi and dislike Pelosi all we want, but we shouldn’t act like these situations are in any way similar.
