Day: July 7, 2024

Do you know how I feel right now as I type these words? I feel as if I’ve been adrift. I’ve been adrift, first marooned on some island, then forced to drift aimlessly in a tiny Dinghy, in shark-infested waters, until — until…

A vivid, bright, fun-loving blue dolphin did a back flip, splashing his way over and carrying me safely home. “My money is on the guy who kicked his ass in 2020.” Ah, I do adore John Fetterman. I’ve used the Dolphin Metaphor on him before. He appeared on MSNBC after President Biden’s interview aired on ABC, and his message was clear—He’s riding with Biden.

And he said the words above. Fetterman certainly understands. Who could forget his race against Dr. Oz, which the media tried so very hard to screw up (and they didn’t.) Fetterman is never one to hold back. He said on MSNBC, that this week, while Dr. Oz was talking about constipation, HE was in the Senate—a race he won. A race the media told us he COULDN’T win.

For Fetterman, it was tough. All the familiar faces in the media PICKED HIM APART, over and over and over again. There were calls for Fetterman to drop out of the race. People said he was behind in the polls. They picked apart his debate performance like was a bug under a damn microscope.

He won. He won. And he won. That’s because he was running, against a man with all the charisma of novocaine. Oz made gaffe after gaffe after gaffe, many of which received precious little attention from our “friends” in the media.

So yes, Fetterman went on MSNBC and defended his friend, President Biden, with gusto. And you know what? I’m glad he did Fetterman’s has ALSO been tirelessly defending Biden on Twitter. He has made it abundantly clear he’s ridin’ with Biden. Perhaps some politicians and pundits could take a lesson from him. Donate to Palmer Report

Even as the media has made up one absurd lie after another about President Joe Biden over the past ten days, Donald Trump has pretty much disappeared. He should be out there right now trying to build momentum heading into the Republican National Convention in eight days, but it appears his people convinced him to vanish so that no one would remember how senile he is.

But tonight that all ended in a big way. Trump’s babysitters must have finally let him have his phone back, because Trump has made dozens of posts to his Truth Social site in the past hour. He’s posting and reposting in manic fashion, suggesting that he’s trying to make up for lost time after having gone ten days without being the center of attention.

If this is how Trump wants to play it, then so be it. The more a senile and unhinged Trump puts himself out there, the more the focus is on him, and the less motivated the media will be to make things up about Biden. By all means, Donald, please proceed. Donate to Palmer Report
