Agencia AJN.- El comandante del 82º Batallón de la 7ª Brigada Blindada, teniente coronel Ofir Caspi, ha sido reprendido por el comandante de su división por las declaraciones políticas que hizo ayer a los periodistas en Khan Younis, al sur de Gaza.
Caspi había dicho a los periodistas que la «solución» para derrotar a Hamás en Gaza es establecer asentamientos.
«Las IDF deben mantener el territorio, creo que si los asentamientos vuelven aquí, habremos ganado. Si matamos a [Yahya] Sinwar, no destruiremos a Hamás, vendrá otro. La solución es volver aquí, como los asentamientos de Judea y Samaria», dijo.
Las IDF dicen que Caspi fue convocado para una «aclaración» con el comandante de la división, quien lo reprendió por sus «comentarios irregulares que no están en línea con los protocolos de las IDF y lo que se espera de un comandante de las IDF.»
«El oficial se retractó de sus palabras y expresó su arrepentimiento», dicen las IDF.
El IDF dice que el comandante está luchando actualmente en Khan Younis, y los comentarios se hicieron en medio de una larga conversación con los periodistas sobre las batallas en curso.
