The Geo-Replications for Azure Storage VS SQL Azure Data Sync is conceptually different. The Azure Storage’s Geo-Replicas is transparent to us as user. We don’t have capability to touch the rest of 5 replicas. It’s designed more for internal Windows Azure failover / backup purpose. For SQL Azure Data Sync, we’ll need to set up each DB first.
