Jack Smith comes out swinging

I’ve been to the mountains, I’ve been to the woods. I’ve been to beaches, in big cities, and experienced the rural beauty of the American countryside. Along the way, I have met many quirky and interesting people. But one I never met? In all my travels, I have never met anyone like Jack Smith.

The man does not stop—he is unrelenting. On Friday, he provided even more evidence that Donald Trump needs a gag order. Smith explained in his filing that Donald Trump’s disgusting racism has “led to racist threats against a judge overseeing another of his cases.”

Smith explained that the Judge who has been the victim of vile threats is Judge Tanya Chutkan.

“Three days,” wrote Smith. “Three days after the indictment in the election case, and one day after Trump’s initial appearance, Trump posted, “IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I’M COMING AFTER YOU.”

Jack Smith has pierced the darkness of Donald Trump’s psyche; he certainly seems to know him better than almost anyone. But then again, this is a man used to dealing with sociopaths. I will not post the threat. It is — it is, my friends, absolutely disgusting.

Smith said in his filing that in the past year, Trump has, again and again targeted “public servants with vitriolic attacks.” Now — we shall see what Cannon does. I am not worried. Why? Because Smith will appeal if he does not get his gag order.

In fact, I am pretty sure that is exactly what will happen. I don’t know for sure but it is tough to imagine Cannon having any concern for anyone besides her own ass. So we’ll see what happens.
