If this is how they want to play it…

As soon as the Supreme Court agreed to take up Donald Trump’s immunity appeal at all, we knew that the court would end up trying to work against us to some degree in the 2024 election. Going even further back than that, when the media (on both sides) decided to make a big deal of President Biden’s age and fitness while mostly ignoring Trump’s similar age and near-constant senile moments, we knew the media would also try to work against us in the 2024 election.

But over the past several days this trend has come to a head. Biden and Trump had a middling non-event of a debate that clearly wasn’t going to help or hurt either one of them, and yet the MSNBC – CNN – New York Times clown show collectively insisted that Biden should drop out of the race or was going to be replaced. This was National Enquirer level fake news, yet this is where we are these days. The media debacle was enough to rally the proverbial troops around Biden, to the point of a massive fundraising haul and a slew of emphatic re-endorsements.

And then yesterday the Supreme Court announced a mixed ruling on Trump immunity which isn’t nearly as bad as the media is claiming, but isn’t nearly as good as it should be. There’s still a good chance that Jack Smith will be able to put Trump on criminal trial in Washington DC before the election. But the Supreme Court ruling was just bad enough to once again rally the troops around Biden.

So here we are. Support and enthusiasm for Biden are solidifying as we speak. Everyone who wants and needs Biden to win is now coming around to the realization that, as with all elections, it comes down to us. The Supreme Court is obviously not our friend. Nor is the political media. Any news outlet that would even talk about Biden dropping out, after his convicted felon opponent spent the entire debate lying and taking insane positions, can never be taken seriously again on any matter.

If this is how they want to play it, then so be it. By eagerly playing the villain, all that the Supreme Court and the political media are doing is setting President Joe Biden as a hero to rally around. And based on the response it’s already clear that we’re indeed rallying around him. Remember, no matter the circumstances, elections are won by things like donations and volunteering and voter registration. Whatever happens with the courts and the media will be what it’ll be.
