Iran continued to attack the Gulf states on March 28. Iran launched five drones and one missile at Saudi Arabia between 2:00 PM ET on March 27 and 2:00 PM ET on March 28. The Bahrain Defense Force said on March 28 that it intercepted 23 Iranian drones and 20 missiles. Several Iranian drones struck Kuwait International Airport on March 28, damaging a radar system and setting some fuel tanks on fire. Omani authorities stated on March 28 that two Iranian drones struck the Salalah Port, causing some damage and injuring a worker. Danish container shipping company Maersk said it temporarily halted its loading operations at the port due to the attack. The Abu Dhabi Media Office separately reported on March 28 that debris from a ballistic missile interception injured six people and ignited three fires in the Khalifa Economic Zone.
