Trump states the U.S. has “met and exceeded all military objectives” and describes Iran’s 10-point proposal as “a workable basis on which to negotiate,” adding that “almost all points of past contention have been agreed to.”
Trump’s post mentions the Strait of Hormuz, military objectives, and a peace agreement with the exiting regime. It does not mention the Iranian people once.
For 92 million Iranians still living under IRGC rule, the “longterm problem” is far from close to resolution.
