According to UKMTO, a vessel was struck with an uncrewed surface vessel (USV) “above the water line” 50nm north of Muscat, Oman and that fires were under control and the crew evacuated to shore.
Soon after the IRGC claimed that it had struck and sank the Athena Nova tanker. However, as mentioned by @_MartinKelly_ in the previously reposted update, the Athena Nova is now sitting anchored in the Fujairah Anchorage Zone on the east coast of the UAE.
