5.2-magnitude quake hits off east coast of Kamchatka


An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted off the east coast of Kamchatka at 1638 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said, News.az reports, citing Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 66.2 km, was initially determined to be at 51.94 degrees north latitude and 159.21 degrees east longitude.
