Motiva and Exxon went into diesel/Jet fuel turnaround last week. Inventories dropped, and price goes up. The reason diesel is more expensive is simply supply and capacity, hopefully soon, the EPA will start releasing permits for refineries to re-tool to make diesel/jet from shale oil, until then we’re stuck with imported heavy crude to produce those fuels.
