According to South Korea’s Transport Ministry, the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) aboard Jeju Air Flight 2216, the jet that crashed at South Korea’s Muan Airport late last December, stopped recording four minutes before the Boeing 737-800 crashed. The ministry has said that the damaged flight recorder has now been sent to a U.S. National Transportation Safety Board laboratory. 179 out of 181 passengers died in the crash.
