I would exhaust every type of tool first. Sadly there is nothing online about how to dismantle them so you have done well to get it down to the last bit, might be where you need to stand with a specific tool as fences can be particular about where you stand in order to get the prompt, I’d imagine similar logic will apply to the flag pole.
