There were numerous aspects of the Trump-Republican plot to overthrow the 2020 election, from the Trump-incited January 6th terrorist attack, to Trump’s fake elector plot, to data breaches into voting machines in key swing states.

Georgia has indicted everyone from top to bottom, including Donald Trump. Michigan and Arizona have indicted a number of lower level and mid level people for their roles in trying to overthrow the 2020 election, but we’re still waiting to see if Trump gets charged in those states as well. But now we have some new names to add to the indictment pile.

The Michigan Attorney General just criminally indicted two additional people for their roles in trying to overthrow the 2020 election. Neither indictment is directly tied to Donald Trump himself. But as long as people are still getting indicted, it means the probe is still ongoing – and that means it’s still possible that Trump will end up indicted as well. In the meantime his criminal trial in New York is ongoing.

We’ve spent years saying nothing about Barron Trump, both because he was a kid, and because he hasn’t been involved in his father’s political or criminal antics. But in a reminder that none of the Trump kids probably ever had a chance to turn out to be anything other than shit, Barron Trump – who is now eighteen years old – has indeed decided to get directly involved in his father’s corrupt pursuits.

Barron Trump will be a delegate from Florida at this summer’s Republican National Convention, according to Politico. This means that Barron will show up and cast a vote for his father on behalf of his father’s Republican primary win in the state.

In other words, Barron Trump is now getting involved with Donald Trump’s criminal scam of a 2020 campaign. Given that Donald Trump is only running to try to stay out of prison, this means that Barron is now essentially conspiring with his father to try to evade justice. To hell with them both.

(NewsNation) — Journalist Megyn Kelly, host of the Megyn Kelly Show podcast, said Kristi Noem is “done” after the South Dakota Gov. falsely claimed she met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Noem “got caught because she didn’t think the rest of us were smart enough to figure out … it’s a big deal to meet with Kim Jong Un,” Kelly told NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas. “She did that because she wanted to mislead us. She’s been exposed.”

Kelly said there’s no chance Noem will be on Trump’s 2024 vice presidential list: “Trump likes her, but Trump is not dumb. And he knows she will hurt his ticket,” Kelly added.

Noem acknowledged removing a reference to meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong Un from her book, wavering when pressed on whether it was inaccurate during an interview on “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” earlier this week.

Noem, a Republican long considered a potential 2024 vice presidential pick, avoided directly admitting the claim was untrue when asked about the retraction. But after numerous follow-ups, the governor said, “This anecdote I should not have put in the book. And I asked (the publishers) to have it taken out, and it is.”

Noem’s book has faced scrutiny for including the anecdote describing her meeting the North Korean leader while traveling during her days in Congress. After multiple reports raised questions about its accuracy, a spokesperson for her office said Kim “was included in a list of world leaders and shouldn’t have been.”’

The Associated Press noted Noem traveled to China, Japan and South Korea as part of a congressional delegation in 2014.

Noem defended not initially copping to the inaccuracy, saying, “I don’t talk about personal meetings with world leaders.” She said she “took responsibility for it” and that “the buck stops with me.”
