I think an important statistic is that after graduation and the required 5 yr contract agreement, Something like 85 % of the CG Academy graduate re-enlist. The naval academy re-up # is something like 15-20%. I feel that reflects job satisfaction and quality of life, and upward mobility for CG Officers.
