6666 Ranch, or Four Sixes Ranch, was founded by Samuel “Burk” Burnett back in 1870 when he purchased 100 heads of cattle and gave them the now-famous 6666 brand. Burnett went on to become one of the most influential and successful cattlemen in Texas history.
