With European Parliament withholding approval the 🇪🇺🇺🇸 July trade deal now goes nowhere. That means no reduction in 🇪🇺 tariffs on 🇺🇸 imports. But the 🇪🇺 reaction to the Trump 🇺🇸action now must go further. Perhaps we need to take some lesson from 🇨🇳 on Trump handling, although we don’t have the same instruments.
